Proof that orthodox isn’t only black.

From Satemwa in Thyolo — the only orthodox estate in Malawi — this is a barely-handled white: leaf and bud, withered and dried, almost nothing else. Delicate, honeyed and quiet, it asks for attention and rewards it.

Use cooler water and a longer, gentler steep. This is the cup that proves the orthodox method is about the whole leaf, not about a colour.
