High-grown at around 2,000m in the Nandi Hills and plucked one-bud-and-a-leaf, this is the tea that makes the whole case for highveld in a single cup. Withered slowly and rolled the orthodox way, it keeps the whole leaf intact — and with it, everything the auction grinds away.

Expect malt and stone fruit up front, a clean tannic spine, and a finish that stays bright. It takes milk if you want it, but it has earned the right to be drunk black.
