What we process and why
Analytics (only with consent)
With your consent we use Google Analytics 4 to understand how the site is used. Until you consent, analytics storage is off (Google Consent Mode v2) and no analytics cookies are set. Legal basis: consent. See our cookie policy.
Orders and payments
Once the shop is live, we process your name, delivery and billing address, email and order details to fulfil your order. Checkout and payment run through Snipcart and Stripe; your payment details never reach our servers. Legal basis: performance of the contract and statutory record-keeping.
Newsletter / sign-up
If you leave your email, we use it only to keep you posted about the launch and the Fair Report. You can unsubscribe at any time. Legal basis: consent.
Contact
If you message us, we process your name, email and the content to answer your question. Legal basis: legitimate interest.
Who we share data with
- Google (Google Analytics) — website statistics, only with consent.
- Snipcart and Stripe — cart, checkout and payment.
- Our email and hosting providers.
We never sell your data. Transfers outside the EEA happen only with appropriate safeguards.
How long we keep data
Order and accounting data are kept as long as the law requires (in the Netherlands, generally 7 years). Analytics data and sign-ups are kept no longer than needed, or until you withdraw consent or unsubscribe.
Your rights
You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection and data portability, and you may withdraw consent at any time. Email us at hello@highveld.nl. You can also lodge a complaint with the Dutch DPA, the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens.
Changes
We may update this policy. The date at the top reflects the latest version.
